Fota House is full of stories, there are things to see and experience and elements of sensory stimulation that can inspire students to express themselves using a range of language styles.

- Use the flipchart in the classroom to get a glimpse into new perspectives on Fota
- Carry out a site visit to Fota House with your class to experience the spaces, stories and people who lived and worked there.
- Students can use their visit to Fota as inspiration to create a piece of writing using one or more of the language genres.
